Endota Spa Organic Skincare Wild Orange Spritzer
I picked this up the last time I had a facial at Endota purely
because I loved the smell when they were using it on me. It contains sweet
orange, chamomile, calendula extract and aloe water to soothe skin before
moisturising that may be dry and irritated or sore from breakouts. Look it
smells amazing but I just felt like I had just spent $30 on a fancy air
freshener. I like that its Australian made, cruelty free and uses organic
ingredients but it did noting for my skin. It didn’t work as a toner or to
refresh makeup, so I wouldn’t repurchase this. Cruelty Free.
Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes with White Tea Extract
When the grapefruit ones weren’t in stock I decided to try out the
white tea ones and I was SO impressed. The grapefruit ones are best for oily
skin types while the white tea ones are great all rounders whether your skin is
feeling a bit dry or breaking out. Like the first ones I used these are really
great at lifting makeup and even removes mascara and stubborn eyeliner. I’m so
in love with these makeup wipes and they have definitely become my go to ones
and I will repurchase these but I do want to try the other versions from Burt’s
Bees as well. I can’t recommend these enough; everyone needs to have a packet
of these in their nightstand. Cruelty Free.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser in Fair
This concealer is so great that it could conceal a pie in a bakeshop.
I’ve used this concealer for the past year and this would be my third tube. It
leaves the under eye area looking so bright but it doesn’t feel heavy on the
skin and won’t leave you looking cakey. There is only one negative about this
product and that is the fact that Maybelline test on animals. At the start of
the year I picked up five of these at a Priceline 40% off sale so I do have
another four left, but once I’ve used the last one I won’t be repurchasing
purely for the fact that Maybelline can’t respect our furry friends, which is
so disappointing because it is such a great product that I’m still on the look
out for a cruelty free dupe of. NOT CRUELTY FREE.
Cedel Blowdry Faster Heat Protector
I got this in a beauty box last year and I’ve finally finished it.
It has taken me longer than usual because I’ve tried to cut back to only heat
styling my hair once or twice a month. The smell of this is quite chemical like
and once you spray it on your hair you brush the product through and style like
usual. I’m not a fan of how this leaves my hair feeling though, because once
its dried your hair can feel like plastic. I do feel like it cuts blow-drying
time down a little bit but nothing too great overall. I’ve used the Cedel
hairspray for years and have absolutely loved it, but when I went on their
website I couldn’t find a single thing about their stance on animal testing. It
is an Australian owned company so I’m considering sending off an email to see
if I can continue using their hairsprays because they are really good, but I
wouldn’t repurchase this product. Animal Testing Practices Unknown.
Proactiv Step 2 Tone
This was from the 3-step kit I picked up when my skin was throwing
a hissy fit a few months ago. This toner is quite nice and soothing especially
since I find the cleanser to be quite harsh on the skin. I still have Step 1
and 3 left to use up but when those are finished I will switch back to
Proactiv+ to handle the occasional breakout I have because I find it to be much
more gentle on the skin and won't leave you looking red in the face. Cruelty Free.
