I received my parcel from Lust Have It on
Friday, which was the last day of July, so they are officially back on top of
their shipping issue. Another issue the company is on top of is the quality of their boxes
because this one was an absolute little ripper. Besides from the bonus product,
all the products featured were cruelty free! The packaging is also back to the
mesh zipper makeup bag that I absolutely loved and was so devastated when they
stopped using them. I’m really glad that I stuck around and weathered the storm
of the last few disastrous months because this month was really worth it. The
Lust Have It beauty service costs $19.95 a month and the total value of this
month was $101 in full size products not including the two sample size products.
You are really starting to get your moneys worth again with Lust Have It.
Be A Bombshell The One Stick in Flustered
I had never heard of this brand before it
arrived in the July bag and that is something I really like and is always exciting.
A quick Google search of Be A Bombshell shows that it is an American brand that
is cruelty free with a focus on really colourful cosmetics. The One is a
multiple stick that you can use for cheeks, lips and eyes and I received the
colour Flustered that is a bright red that turns to a hot pink colour when you
blend it out. It has got a hint of shimmer and when I first opened the packaging I
was all “WOAH, this is a bit intense for my pale skin” but it looked beautiful
on the lips and because its really easy to blend so you don’t need a lot and it
wont look too intense on the cheeks. Would not recommend wearing this shade on the
eyes though! Full Size. $24. Cruelty Free.
Be A Bombshell Lip Gloss in Sugar Lips
When I first saw this lip-gloss I was
absolutely in love! Not only with the name of it but because of the complete
Barbie pink shade. It is VERY pigmented, VERY glossy and VERY long lasting. It
can get a bit sticky if you apply too much but it kept my lips hydrated, glossy
and with the perfect amount of colour. Full Size. $21. Cruelty Free.
Hikari Eyeshadow Quad in Halle
Another American cruelty free brand I
hadn’t heard of before came in the form of a gorgeous little eyeshadow quad. I
got four very useable colours that will definitely not go to waste. There is
one matte and three shimmer shades that are incredibly buttery and creamy to
touch. They aren’t extremely pigmented which means you’ll need to use a bit
more shadow but these blend out like an absolute dream and are so easy to work
with. I can’t even believe how well they all blend, I was so surprised. The
four shades I received in the Halle quad are a matte nude colour, a shimmery
olive gold, shimmery chocolate brown and a shimmery peach colour. I would
really recommend these palettes, so divine! Full Size. $22.50. Cruelty Free.
Paula’s Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle
Repair Retinol Serum
I love the Paula’s Choice brand and
especially love reading their Beautypedia which helped educate me a lot with
the different skincare ingredients and how well they work with my skin. I’ve
gotten the chance to try a couple of the products and they’ve all been so
amazing, so when I saw the retinol serum sample I just squealed with delight.
Retinol is a great ingredient to help the skin with repairing itself and this
serum targets wrinkles and sun damage while assisting in building collagen and
reducing sunspots and pigmentation. I don’t really have a problem with wrinkles
right now (I’m smart enough to stay out of the sun and use sunscreen) but I’m
really excited to see how this goes with assisting the red marks on my face
from acne scarring. Excitement overload for this product. Deluxe Sample.
Cruelty Free.
Marsk Certified Organic Eyeliner in Pitch
Black
I’ve previously received this product in
another box and have only used it a couple of times, but it is still as
wonderful as the first time I used it. Cruelty free and organic, this eyeliner
lives up to its Pitch Black name. It’s incredibly easy to use and doesn’t tug
and drag at the delicate eye skin, which means you can get smooth lines with
ease. A great little liner for any pencil lover. Full Size. $33.50. Cruelty
Free.
BONUS
Argh Lust Have It. This would have been a
perfect cruelty free box is it wasn’t for these samples, but oh well. This
shampoo and conditioner combo is meant to create thicker, fuller and healthier
hair. I don’t really need thicker hair but I will use it up and just wont
repurchase it since Garnier aren’t cruelty free. Sample Size. TESTS ON ANIMALS.
