Lust Have It May 2015

I unsubscribed in the midst of all the lateness two months ago and only just resubscribed when I felt like the company was delivery quality. In my email i got an offer to resubscribe to Lust Have It for only $9.95 and decided to pounce. But due to all the hoo ha surrounding the incredible lateness of Lust Have It, they decided to skip April and go straight to May. I actually ended up liking this box more than my boxes from Violetbox and Bellabox and it was amazing value for money.

Bloom Liquid Foundation Brush
Bloom is a great Australian brand that is cruelty free. The description states that the brush helps to reduce product wastage and this is a concept I find really interesting as a lot of brushes soak up as much foundation as they apply to your face. I have never tried their brushes before but this liquid foundation brush looks really soft and I can't wait to give it a try. Full Size $35

Soak Skin Booster Body Lotion, Hair Shine Shampoo and Revive Conditioner
I received the body lotion in the May Violet Box which was quite lovely so I'm interested to try out the haircare from the same brand. The shampoo is packed full of Maca Root and the conditioner pumped with Purple Kale which are both seen as superfoods. I'm not up on all this health biz since my dinner consisted of deluxe fries and lemon iced tea at the Pancake Parlour with my bestie, but it will be interesting to try this stuff out in my hair. My only fear is that my hair will smell like kale and I'll attract hipsters wanting to talk to me about their fear of the mainstream. Sample Size

Hola Seaweed Moisturising Toner
This was the product I was most excited to try and boy was it amazing. I had never heard of this brand before and a quick search brought up no website or social media pages so I was quite intrigued. I haven't used a toner in quite a long time but due to the frosty cold weather and pumping my heater to 32 degrees every night my skin has been incredibly dry this week. When my skin gets dry it doesn't get flaky in the traditional sense but goes extremely tight and itchy to the point I want to peel my skin off. I end up looking like a Real Housewife of (insert American state here) after a round of plastic surgery. So when I saw that this toner was focused on hydration I was sold! It was quite a strange product to use, but now I have started I've realised that this is going to become a skincare staple for me. The toner itself is more like a thick gel liquid than the watery kinds I'm used to and takes a little bit of time to dry. Once applied to the face you can feel it soothing everything and giving your skin a big hug. I followed this up with a nice thick face cream and my skin felt all lovely again. I really want to try all the other products in this brand to see if they are all just as good. The packaging is also super duper adorable and very much similar to Benefits skincare line. At the moment this range looks like its only sold through the Lust Have It online shop but all the products are moderately priced. Full Size $17.95

Coconut Revolution Coconut Body Butter
This is a very tiny sample but smells extremely delish. Made with 100%  organic cold pressed virgin coconut oil, sweet almond oil, sunflower oil and cocoa, this product is perfect for dry winter skin and just soaks right in without leaving any greasy residue. The sample was absolutely tiny so I couldn't get too much use out of it but it was quite lovely. Sample Size

Lonvitalite 24K Active Face Mask
I have tried out most of the Lonvitalite cloth face masks but nothing from the 24K range. These are aimed at people who have concerns with wrinkles and ageing and aim to give a big hit of hydration to the face to plump everything up. I'm not too concerned with ageing at the moment but I am focused on combatting winter skin. So if you have me on snapchat you'll more than likely see me sporting this sexy beast and watching Pretty Little Liars. Full Size $9.95

BONUS

Lonvitalite 24K Active Eye Mask
Even though I really love the Lonvitalite range, I am not too excited to give this a try. I received this eye mask in a different beauty box last year and gave it to my mum to test out. She ended up having a massive allergic reaction and one of her eyes started to swell shut. Not so great. That was the first and last Lonvitalite product she had used but considering I've used nearly all of them without concern, I'm hoping this one is just as great. Full Size $9.95
