Transformulas Face Contour & Tightening Crème
I’ve gotten a couple of samples from this
brand, one lip plumping and the other a face lift in a jar, and I haven’t used
them because to be honest I’m a bit frightened of them. I actually don’t have
any wrinkles yet, thanks to vigilant sunscreen use, besides from a couple of
fine lines around my eyes. The description on this states that it helps to
“life and re-sculpt tired skin so that the bone structure is more defined” and
lists a “wonder ingredient” that is “Eyeseryl”. To be honest I feel like this
sample is a man in a trench coat trying to flash me in the park or get me into
a shady van. The only thing that can reshape your face is a good dose of
plastic surgery folks. I think I’ll give this sample a miss. Sample

Eye Lifting Gel
If I HAD to try one sample from
Transformulas it would probably be this one. The description of this product is
a lot less shady as it lists peptides and plant extracts as its main
ingredients. My dermatologists always told me about the importance of
scientific ingredients in skincare (hello peptides and retinol) to help deliver
actual results, so this one sounds a bit more believable. Sample

Beauty Eye Shadow by Rob Scheppy in Pearl Fizz
I was really excited when I saw this
eyeshadow because of its beautiful champagne pearl colour. Unfortunately it is
not very pigmented so you will have to use quite a bit of it to get the desired
shade. The packaging is also a bit flimsy with the lid snapping off trying to

Cosmetics Aphrodite Powder
This sample is teeny tiny and arrived just
in time because I shattered my Maybelline Stay Matte powder when I dropped my
handbag on the tiles. I’m not really a fan of loose powders because I find them
a bit messy and I’m paranoid something terrible will happen if I accidentally
breathe it all up my nose. The reviews on this online are really great with it
being one of the brands best selling products and I can really see why. It
takes away that afternoon oil but still lets your existing makeup stay natural
and even gives a bit of an illuminating glow to the skin. Again this is another
brand that is strictly against animal testing. Violet Box is slowly helping me
find wonderful cruelty free alternatives for the cosmetics in my makeup bag. Sample

Iona Natural and Organic Concealer in Flawless
The first thing I noticed about the product
is the beautiful packaging that you just want to keep on display in your
bathroom. Although the full size packaging of this is in a mirror compact, they
should totally reconsider switching to sample packaging. The product itself is
a beautiful light concealer that doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin but can
still cover dark circles like a pro. It is packed full of Vitamin E, Cocoa Seed
Butter, Organic Coconut, Jojoba and Castor Seed Oil and is made of 90% natural
ingredients. I was curious about this brand after trying the concealer so I did
a quick Google and was so chuffed to find out they have never and will never
test on animals and also offer vegan friendly options as well. Sample

Skincare Co. Daily Hand & Body Cleanser
Described as alternative to soap this
product helps cleanse this skin without irritating it. Smells delightfully
fresh and is currently housed in my shower because I forgot to by my usual body
wash. Urban Skincare are another great brand that are nice to the environment
by using recyclable packaging and no animal testing. One of the great aspects
of Violet Box is that they feature and have introduced me to a lot of brands
that are strictly against animal testing. This PH balanced cleanser is anti
bacterial, anti fungal (yummy) and full of Vitamins A and C. One of its main
ingredients is Coriander Oil that helps soothe irritated skin. Sample

C2 Collagen Protein Wrinkle Removing Mask
I have gotten so many samples from this
brand and I’ve loved all of them as they are such fun products to use. While I
haven’t seen immediate results and most of them are targeted towards anti
ageing, they always leave my skin feeling super fresh and hydrated. While this
mask is targeted towards anti ageing again, it also has a main focus on
moisturizing. Can’t wait to give this one a try, I love how cloth facemasks
