Hi There! I'm Aimee from Melbourne, Australia and I run this little rascal of a page that my dear friends inspired my to create. During my time at university (which was convinently located right near Melbournes prime shopping district) I was always ducking out during my breaks to pop down to Mecca or David Jones to pick up some new beauty prods to try out. My gal pals would then ask me to give them a play by play of how I found the product and whether it was worth it to buy, because friend opinions are a bit more trust worthy than commercials/magazines/pimped out beauty vloggers.

Basically I wanted to create a beauty blog of tried and tested products with a dash of makeup inspiration and a dollop of fun. As someone who had to learn how do do their makeup through A LOT of trial and error as well as dud products, I wanted to create a little no nonsense space on the internet to document this. I'm not some fancy pants makeup artist, just a girl who right at this moment is sitting on my bed in some old holey (not in the religious way) pyjamas with three out of my five cats, eating half a block of chocolate and writing on this blog.

I'm just like you! Except with an excessive amount of makeup and the diet of an unsupervised child at a birthday party.
